RENDZE announces PROJECT RENDER: 12 AI trainees, 5 debut slots

RENDZE, a new virtual idol label from Thailand, has announced PROJECT RENDER, a 15-week survival show in which fans vote every day to decide which five of 12 AI-generated trainees debut as a virtual boy group. The show launches on 2 November 2026 at 20:00 (GMT+7).

RENDZE Announces PROJECT RENDER: AI Idol Fan Vote Show

What is PROJECT RENDER?

PROJECT RENDER brings together 12 AI idol trainees from five countries: four from Thailand and two each from Korea, Japan, China and the United States. Their faces and names are hidden for now. Each trainee is shown only as a silhouette with three hints: nationality, role and signature color.

The show is hosted by REN, the studio's AI system, with vocal coach SERA and dance coach BOON. All of them, like the trainees, are AI-generated virtual characters.

How the fan vote works

  • Weeks 1–6: two trainees are revealed each week, on Monday and Thursday.
  • Week 7: all 12 trainees perform together in a group show.
  • Weeks 8–13: the trainee with the fewest votes is eliminated each week, with a revival vote in week 13.
  • Week 14: the final takes seven finalists down to five.
  • Week 15: the final five debut.
